This new-build housing development on North Street, Bedminster, follows the demolition of an original bingo hall to make way for a further 22 dwellings and commercial space - 12 houses and 10 apartments with associated parking and ancillary services, alongside the construction of four additional town houses, all built to Passivhaus Standard. This community of 26 high-quality new homes aim to be amongst the most sustainable developments to be built in Bristol. Its the work of North Street Investments, a partnership between Urbis Living, a property developer thats been working in Bristol since 2004, and the sustainable and impact property investor, Bridges Fund Management. The dwellings are designed with high levels of thermal insulation wrapped continuously around the building, triple glazed windows, insulated doors, a heat recovery ventilation system and solar thermal panels.
