This Passivhaus is in Wereham Village Hall, near Downham Market in Norfolk. Replacing a First World War YMCA hut - still standing opposite - the new building has a capacity to accommodate approximately 200 people and will offer a wide range of activities for the local community, including a youth group, craft group, adult education classes, an upcycling craft group and heritage group. Designed by PHT member Parsons + Whittley, the building has a steel structure on concrete foundations, and is finished externally in timber, brick and flint - typical of the North Norfolk area.
